Literally and figuratively picking yourself up, in today's Voidchild!

RIP trees

I hope after this, she really does start to pick herself up.

And hopefully, she will also finally leave the trees alone. =x

Aw, shucks? If that's true, then it's hard to give a finer compliment. ^_^

You go, Imad! :)

It's pretty obvious that he's really taking his "Uncle" status seriously--saved her life too.

It's bitterly ironic that she first saved Raheem's life only to take it later. It's the most poignant part of the story so far. :'(

Haha, yes Imad is a good uncle. Raheem was his best friend after all and Mary was his daughter. Plus he's a decent guy I suppose. ^_^

That's also a very poignant observation that you made. Not one I was intending to put a specific spotlight on, but very much an unintended addition to the tragedy, I guess, the story that Raheem told Mary about her saving his life wasn't just to share a nice story with her though. But very much about his outlook on life in general. And if that helps her here... ^_^

So much love. It's so touching. At least she's not alone. She has a shoulder to cry on.

It's like Delta said in their comment. He probably saved her life. Had she been completely alone... best not to think about it. :x
