For heaven's sake no! >_< i would not in any of my stories use one of the most infamous story retcons to explain anything away like that. I guarantee that much! ^_^

Even when out of danger, Mary's got a lot of trauma that runs deep. Perhaps there's a mental health clinic that can help with that, in another nation or universe....

Haha, if only we had the means somehow to make it so she could appear in this other universe somehow and make use of their health benefits. ;)
