Thanks for reading! Please let me know how you found part three in the comments!

Voidchil will be on a short break and returns on the 16th of April!

But, there will be something else up this Sunday which hope will make any readers of Voidchild happy and relates to the comic.

Until then!

(also, kinda figured out a workaround for posting multiple pages to CF as you can see)

I found it to be soul-destroying >_>

Really though it was a good arc, introduced this strange enemy and makes me want to know more. It was like a swift punch in the face! But in comic form. Which I mean to say is a good thing lol

Haha, I read you loud and clear and very much appreciate (in a good way) how it was a punch to the gut. It's what I set out to do when I wrote and drew this chapter. I hope to deliver many more (figurative) punches to the gut in the future! The next part will be the final one of this chapter. And it may involve some emotional turmoil. Thanks for reading, commenting and sticking with us! ^_^

emotional turmoil is fun to read about. Its what makes a character relateable to a reader and draws us into the story.

And I sincerely hope you found some of that here. Voidchild is meant to be about drama, emotions and character relationships first and foremost. The action and modern fantasy setting are vehicles for me to create exciting conflict with and I'd love if that comes across. ^_^

Either way, I'm so glad to have got you on board and I hope you'll like what comes next. Because it's my intention not to slow down the emotional stuff just yet. ^_^

I found the chapter to be an excellent exercise in backstory and worldbuilding. I now see WHY Mary did some of the things she did back in Victoria.

It was also fun to watch your drawing skills as they steadily improved. :)

Aw shucks... thank you so much. I'm glad things feel connected. That's definetly a huge hurdle in trying to tell a long-form story. Both in regards to characters but also the world they inhabit.

As for my drawing, that is doubly appreciated. I'm constantly going to keep developing. I've come to a level where I can, mostly, represent the comic as it looks in my head. But there are so many nitty gritty details I want to polish and get better at when it comes to the art. I mean, Voidchild is never going to look hyper realistic. That's not the style I want. But I do want it to look competent in whatever scenes I create!

Thanks again so much for all your support, lovely comments and interest. I really do have the bestest readers! ^_^

It happened. Every single bit of it. Unfortunately for Mary, but fortunate (ehm) for the story.

(I hope...)

This is so grim. And intense.
You're truly good at story telling :D
