Something's missing, in today's Voidchild.

I really know her feelings of guilt, even when things truly were not your fault...

It's a matter of perspective I suppose. There were surely things she could've done different, but chose not to. We'll never know how that would've played out though. This is the end result of those decisions.

Well the city was destroyed, and anyone who survived might blame Mary. Probably best for her to leave.

There's that and the fiery gardeners that came to town. Multiple reasons she couldn't stay. Thank god for uncles I suppose.

Wow, pathos reigns supreme. :(

We know that Mary took out great swathes of the scrawny attackers. Please tell me that she actually killed the leader, and got the rest as well. >:(

A casual reminder of what's happened and her current reaction to it. I won't hammer it though. The point has been made. And I'm more interested in showing how she copes with her actions and loss.

As for the scrawny guys... they'll be some elaboration, if you can cal it that, on the next page.

Well, it's good that Imad survived, and was able to see past all the death and destruction to get Mary to safety. Under the circumstances, it's heartwarming.

Imads perspective is very much that of an uncle and a friend. He'll prioritise his close one's first. Case in point. Whether he knows what to do now is a different question...
