And the years pass, in today's Voidchild.
So for those that don't know, my computer broke down last week and I've been unable to draw new pages for just under a week. Hopefully, this won't affect new updates of Voidchild, and I'm gonna work hard so that I won't have to take a break from updating. But wanted to give you all a heads-up.
Oh, and I got a ton of fun reader questions and I'm looking forward to answering those in a separate update! I might actually have to split it up into two separate updates. We'll see.
And that just goes to show, as I've known for so long, that Voidchild readers are awesome and great! ^_^

That is a long time to be waiting. Might be time for an intervention.
Sorry to hear that about your computer, if you gotta take a break then take a break (I hope not tho!!!)

Well, intervention or not, it sounds like Imad's about to try something. Let's see how he gets on. ;)
And for sure, if I have to take a break I will. But I'd rather not obviously. =D I'm expecting the computer stuff to be resolved by the beginning of next week. Here's hoping! ^_^

In three years no one noticed Imad slipping off with armloads of supplies and followed him? Either he's ninja-level sneaky, the townspeople are traumatized into immobility, Or some combination of the two. O.o
Mary, on the other hand, has avoided the one thing which could bring her back to normal--possibly even restore the power. She has not interacted with other people. :(

Haha, I think perhaps they practice an out of sight of our mind policy. Also, Kynthale is decently sized. He should be able to take off now and again without arousing too much suspicion. Alile, his wife, knows where he's going and can cover for him.
Mary's avoidance and isolation is def a deciding factor in how she's shaped as a person from here on out. Having three years pass without moving forward at all is def going to have an impact on you as a person once you end up in a major city full of people, like Victoria. At the moment she's also avoiding dealing with the issue at hand. Grief is knocking on her door, but she's not opening. She knows it's just outside and it'll keep knocking. But unless she does, she'll be unable to deal with it. Let's see what happens in the next scene.

So she basically lost those three years of her youth? Not only did she endure a horrible tragedy and loss, but if all she's did was hide in seclusion and try non-stop to access her saled powers, then she might as well have been comatose...

You're right, Three years gone missing is a horrible blow for any human being's development. Sprinkle a level of trauma on top of that and you've got yourself a person who's gonna have some hard time readjusting to society, regardless of if/how they make it through the other end.
