Killing him over and over again, in today's Voidchild.
I got a quite a number or reader questions and I was super happy about this. So I'll be splitting my answers up into two parts. The first will go up next friday and the second one once this chapter is done. So please look forward to that! ^_^
As always, thanks for reading. You know I appreciate the heck and dang out of every reader of Voidchild and I'm still blown away that anyone's even paying attention to my lil' comic.

I understand what Imad is trying to do with his "tough love" approach, and it would probably work on a regular person--it may even work on Mary--but it's a lot like dragging a full-grown tiger out of a quicksand bog by pulling on it's tail.
You may save the tiger's life, but it won't appreciate your methods.....
As for you, @THEVOIDCHILDPROJECT, you've given us the best story and art (both continually improving) that you can produce. Why should we not show our appreciation by reading (and voting)?

That's a very apt analogy considering everything that's happened so far. Mary's actions, whether she meant to or not, cost her dad her life. Imad's telling the truth. Whether he thought this through or not is a different question...
And thank you for the high praise. I genuinely feel it's important to acknowledge my readers because of the appreciation I feel. And I do and really am very happy that people have taken to my story and hope it'll deliver going forward too! ^_^

I like how Mary's words are all mashed together. Shows how she's totally out of it (we already knew, but still)

Thanks! Perhaps she's really coming to the end of her tether though? :x

Finally! I hate seeing these 'oh, that was okay' reactions. People get PISSED when they lose someone they love! This staunch reality is the kick in the ass everyone needs. But uh, I cannot really condone the chick-hitting (even though, I guess that is the whole point)?

You may very well be right. This could be exactly what is needed. Pent up frustration and grief over three years? Here we go!
And I don't condone violence towards anyone. But this is a story with flawed characters. Imad's not the kind to lay hands on anyone. But his emotions are boiling over. And just like with real life people, when that happens, we act in ways we mightn't otherwise.

I was wondering when Imad would vocally blame Mary for her father's death, since it's technically true and emotionally charged. If he was keeping this in for years it was bound to erupt this violently. Not that it helps either of them.

Emotions are powerful. They can make us do all the right things. But also have the opposite effect. It's oftentimes a gamble. Let's see what happens to these two!

Yay! I'm so glad you find it intense! I was really going for that! ^_^
