It turns out, wherever this portal was connected to, the people there needed 1 more train worker to work at their train station. Oh, and they wanted to unleash some unspeakable horror, nbd

And I thought cows on the railroad tracks were an inconvenience. How long will it take to resume schedule when a portal to hell has opened in the middle of the route? Then again, I suspect there are bigger problems...

I can confirm it is at least not a portal to hell. And while Solomon seems like he doesn't want to fully commit to the theory, he's not completely off track. Though it's perhaps not as "traditional" a rift in space as he might imagine. :0

Again, I'm growing increasingly concerned that Voidchild readers have their finger so well placed on the pulse. I won't spoil things but wow, I'm pretty amazed that readers all over are pulling the kinds of theories they do. It flatters me especially because it shows that people are reading the comic thoroughly and also that they remember what's gone on. For a comic that only updates twice a week, I feel like that's a huge compliment and one that I def take onboard!
As for the allusion Solomon is making, I will be heavy handed with how I allude to who or what that may have been. Coming up. ;)
