But his eyes are black. I'm guessing that's a difference that'll matter.

Well her eyes turn black when she goes all-out, remember? So it's possible he's in that sort of state? Except more talk-y and less explode-y.

Snuffy's got it right. There is a significant difference. Also note that her eyes are still solid light blue in her "normal" state. But his were no different from yours or mine.
There was a question about this during the Q&A, which I couldn't answer then and there because it's tied to story stuff. But it's not just because I wanted her to look cool (I still think she totally does though). ^_^

Indeed, and she might have to put that quick learning to use very soon.
And I suppose I hadn't thought of the similarities between my Mary and Mr Banner. They both also both share a potentially disastrous fallout in their respective, uhm, impulsive states. :P

Yes, the comparisons with the hulk and Mary are probably skin-deep. And her relation to anger + black eyes may be more coincidentally. It's a "chicken and the egg" situation where one def spurs the other on. But not necessarily in the same manner as Banner (I make a rhyme every time!).
This chapter will def give more insight into the mystery of Th Voidchild as well as Mary's relation to her power.

You've hit the nail on the head there! And I'm glad you've picked up on this. The story has been built so far around "The Voidchild", singular. But Amir's appearance uproots this theory. Good catch! ;)
