Remember these guys? ;)
RL and day job has been very busy lately, so as noted above, Voidchild is taking a quick break so I can work on my buffer of pages!
If you enjoy Voidchild, consider rating, commenting, subscribing or sharing! Any and all of these things help me and the comic a lot!

The painting in the final panel... it's like one of those optical illusions, where it could either be a landscape or a sad skull o_o

It's not been super evident, But I've tried to do a running theme of art with mystical horror themes in Victoria throughout the comic. It just seems like that's what people would be into in a place like Victoria. Such is the trend at least. :D

Looks more like a potrait of his dear old JACK
May his soul(if he even had one) rest in errrm...I don't think peace is the right word๐๐

Hah, it's more appropriate to say Jack is resting in "pieces". *author snickering/snorting*

Hey, man, no sweat! We all need to take a break once in a while! Take care!

Thanks, I'll make the most (drawing and otherwise) of this short break! '''Tis the eternal problem for a scheduled webcomic and balancing it against RL. Were I given free reigns, I'd draw all diddly-day and night ofc! ^_^

I suppose if you lead a cult that sacrifices babies but don't take any steps to conceal your identity whatsoever, the fuzz tends to pay you visits...

It is curious how he's seemingly not worked up about it at all, isn't it? ;)

Hmmmm. The situation suggests high-level political connections providing a shield the police cannot summarily ignore, but....
....the studiedly casual attitude of the representative of said police suggests a campaign of affronts, slights, and irritations designed to send the message that no such arrangement is ever permanent.
A cat-and-mouse game with no clear delineation as to which player is which at any given time. :)
Delicious! ^^

Oooh, I won't iron out the details (the next couple of pages will do that for me). But you've grasped the general nature of the scene. AND picked up on the nuances of the characters therein. I'm impressed!
There are plot points intersecting, old questions that needs to be resolved and unfinished matters that I don't want to leave dangling. This scene will resolve some and further others. Highly advanced stuff! ;)
