Spooky.
You know, even though, as you said, the art isn't the greatest, you still have a really good sense of building up feelings and creating tension with your composition (I think composition is the right word?)
Like, when deciding what angles to show the characters from, the quick close-up glimpses, and the added shadows. The story reads easily and has that feeling come across very well.

Thank you so much! I've come a long way with my art (this was actually the first thing I ever drew seriously), but I still look back at these old chapters fondly. ^_^
That said, I always wanted my comic to have a cinematic feel. And maybe I do have some understanding of storytelling in that sense. In any case, it's really encouraging to hear people's opinions on my comic. Especially maybe when they look at my first chapter. I'd be curious what you'd think about the art as it is now. ^_^

I did get a peek of a later page (found this comic through a forum where you shared it) I agree, your art does improve a lot.
It's nice that even starting out, you still have a good sense for it. I've seen a lot (myself included) struggle with this. (I'll have to read up to the current chapters later, though. Life responsibilities calling!)
