And we're back from our holiday break! Thanks for your patience! We return to a contemplating Mary and hey, remember that card she got?
If you enjoy Voidchild please consider subscribing, rating, commenting and/or sharing! Any of these things help me and the comic a lot! ^_^

Abraham is definitely more trustable than Amir. I don't think he understands the void or any of that, but he could help Mary find a way to learn more without Amir's help.

He doesnt strike you as a well read person maybe? Just having a trustworthy person on your side at a time like this is probably never a bad thing though. Not too many allies for an enemy of existence after all!

Oh wow! Thank you so much! I just noticed Voidchild was on there now! I really appreciate you doing that! ^_^
As for Abe’s take, well, he’s probably got motives of his own. Albeit they don’t seem as shady as a certain someone I know. ;)

Welcome back! ^^
I'd trust Abraham not to have a sinister ulterior motive--something I can't say about Amir--but if Amir really IS a full Voidchild, and what he has said is true, at least he hasn't been nihilistic enough to hasten the inevitable and destroy existence.
A pretty puzzle: Do you rely on someone who is well-meaning, but of limited value, or do you rely on someone who is dangerous but expert....
....or do you use Abraham to temper Amir, like someone caging a scorpion?

Thank you and welcome back to you too (to my comic at least =D)!
I love the way you think. It's a very rational, uhm, rationale. I suppose, from Mary's perspective Abraham's usefulness booksmart-wise might be limited. But as a trustworthy person (far as she knows), he might have more use.
I will also say, you've phrased your train of thought in a way that made me smile.

How long did it take to piece together that flashback sequence? I know it takes effort to "remix" comics like that, cutting out, arranging, and filtering panels, to do an impressive yet inobtrusive display of Mary's recent history.

Actually, not very long at all. It sort of came together fairly well on it's own. So I think luck (far as how I layed out the original panels) played its part too.
Working in Photoshop with layers makes experimenting with something like this fairly simple though. For which I'm thankful. ^_^
