You can order your battle-damaged Mary-action figure as it becomes available this fall on amazon.makebelieve.com!
Also, I'm working without buffer pages atm and lots of RL-stuff going on. Some updates might get delayed. Just a heads-up. =)
If you enjoy Voidchild please consider subscribing, rating, commenting and/or sharing! Any of these things help me and the comic a lot! ^_^

yikes...
Hope battle-damaged Mary's about to start a damaging battle. Something to make this guy stop talking.

My creep-dial is off the charts. And I don't know, sometimes those first impressions we get of these kinds of people turn out to be just the tip of an iceberg... =x
Incidentally, I think you know Mary well enough by now to see what's coming. ;)

This reminds me of an Avengers level dust up.
YES! Lets get this rolling!

My clock is showing only a few minutes before we're back in at the beginning of the issue. But still a few pages left. What is the author thinking!? 8)

Well, it may be time for those cool blue eyes to change their tone somewhat...
(also, I'm starting to think he's just provoking her so he can get the void to consume her more...)

Let’s hope she doesn’t go so far as putting on the shades! Then again, if he does it, is she allowed? Stupid rules!
As for his how’s and why’s of Amir’s behaviour. We may be seeing a very thinly veiled facade coming to pieces for all the wrong reasons. If not his entire story, then at least prevalent traits of his own character are stepping into the light.

My,my! I can hear her vow not to kill people eroding from waaaaay over here. If things continue as the seem to be going, The P.I.U. may be looking for new digs--after they sift for salvageable items from the rubble of their current ones. ^^
That's a great "Furious Mary" face. You're really getting into this. ^^

Mary’s vow, in my mind, extends even beyond her own actions. For instance, standing back doing nothing while Amir threatens to lives may come under this purview. Even if it’s reactionary. That said, she’s not made of stone (in fact she might be even sturdier) and while it may come as no surprise that she and Amir wasn’t gonna get along, the extent to which this is true is so far only touched upon.
And thanks, this is possibly one of my favourite (modern) Mary panels so far. Hence why it’ll be the limited edition action figure. ;)
(Amir will have a figurine too, along with a fully customisable creep-mobile!)

OOH! OOH! will Amir's action figure have detachable body parts? ^^

Oh man here we go!! Amir definitely knows how to provoke someone.. I have a feeling Mary's gonna get even more answers from this guy...he's still so mysterious :P

Yes! it’s probably not saying too much that he’s got on her bad side now (not that she was super keen on him before). I wonder if he can get even further under her skin? I wonder it would take to do that...
As for answers. Knowledge is a form of power. Power is used to control. And as may have possibly become evident, Amir is keen on control...
Welp.

Looks like I was right.
I give Mary maybe a 10% chance of saving both guys with them unharmed.
You can add 5% with them being harmed but living.
...The other 85% is various forms of dead or wish they were.

Low odds! Which could be a testament to the perceived threat that Amir poses towards the policemen OR...
the perceived threat that The Author poses towards the poilcemen. =x

I always wanted Amir to see slightly suspicious but still maybe a bit charming and maybe even a bit likeable at first. Only to make a ginormous heel-turn by the end of this issue.
By now you’ll have flipped enough pages to know how he maxed out his level cap. :x
