Amir's views on life and tit-for-tat wall-throwing in today's Voidchild!

Love that philosophical combat. I'm worried about Amir quenching his thirst with Mary...

The implications are both gross and dire. Best not to think about it too much... :x

Awesome action sequence and bad@ss philosophy from Amir! what hes saying here seems so in tune with his character and his actions so far. Though I cant say Mary's gonna appreciate it as much xD

The proposed line of thinking is in line with nihilism, which takes on a very literal form in the form of The Voidchild. One could argue that anyone who believes so much that things are predetermined fit with that label. Why give a damn when you can’t do a damn is Amir’s proposed line of thinking. Carpe Diem in the jerkiest way possible! :D

All of you are wise to distance yourselves from what’s going on here. ^_^

So just a nihilist, plain and simple. "Nothing matters, so I can do what I want."
Amir may be closer to oblivion than he thinks he is. He's seen Mary out of control, and he thinks that's all she can do. He's never seen her focused on killing. ^^

Sure, the idea for Amir’s personality, as he lays it out here for himself, was mostly about a sort of “carpe diem” way of looking at the end of all things. Ive always thought of “fate” as, I guess, kind of a nihilistic way of thinking. A line that Amir is working alongside. His and Mary’s views on inevitability was probably the first viewpoint in which we found them at odds. It’s come to more of a head now though I guess. :D
Not to forget, the Mary you’re referring to was also a six years younger, pre-vow-making and not having been pounded through pavement to a near death experience of her own. And question is, in light of recent discoveries, does she dare venture there again? Stay tuned! ;)

Amir is a disgrace to existentialism, I look forward to Mary giving him a savage beating

He’s a flppin’jerk is what he is. Some would argue that this line of reasoning is rationalising self-serving interests.
