Well dang.
That's one mystery solved.
Also - Amir can make portals?

I tried my diddly-darnedest to keep this a secret and throw people off towards suspecting Movian. He was the one with a motive and possibly also the means.
Amir was meant to seem a bit suspicious, but also charming and maybe even a bit likeable (despite some creepiness). And then make an incredible heel turn for the end of this issue, ^_^
And yes, he can make portals. There’s a reason for that which we’ll delve into at some other time. But remember that portal from the beginning of the chapter? :x

I mean, sure, I remember the portal from the beginning of the chapter, but that stayed as a hole in the ground after he left, didn't it? Whereas the portal here disappeared after he left (I assume, or the PIU would have noticed it).

Absolutely right, the only similarities is that they were portals. It’s the only plant I’ve left before showing Amir doing this. I’ll just say that the circumstances then and at the police station were different (but I’ve yet to go into why) so not to spill too many beans. ^_^

Freaking awesome way to end this Part!! Man I did not see that coming, what a way to finish up an unresolved mystery. Amir really wants to see what Mary can really do huh? I have a feeling he might regret that xD

Yay! So glad you like it! I’ve been trying to throw people off his trail ever since he first showed up. Movian was the obvious suspect, until that was put into question in the previous issue. Amir’s random nihilistic nature made this all come together on a script-level fairly neatly. Though, in the firar iterations, ot actually didn’t even turn out this way.
Also, he did manage to stretch her patience even further, didn’t he? Let’s see what comes of that when we return from that short break. ;)

Your art looks really good in sepia. Hope you do more formal experimentation.

It seems like Amir will never run out of reasons to make Mary hate him more! There's always something else! revenge time

Ah, introductions. Mary, meet Callous Twit. Callous Twit, meet Utter Destruction.
I still have hope that they will get to compare body counts. It just wouldn't seem fair if Amir didn't know how badly he was outclassed. ^^

Haha, well, with what we know he is def horribly behind. But there’s a big gap in far as Amir’s background concerns.
I’ve nothing to add far as the callous twit description though. Spot on! :D

As predicted
But damn
He makes portals.
It's suspiciously a void thing, considering old feather earings conversation with his goons about the rest of their team being "gone" in chapter two.
Christ I love this
But Amir looks well skilled. This does not look good for Mary.
Fingers crossed

Hah, that's a portal indeed. To where you ask? We'll learn that at some point. ^_^
And you're also right to. Amir doesn't deserve respect perhaps, but his power does. This won't be easy. And perhaps not possible? Stay tuned. ;)

Uuugh..
They may share some things, but in the very end they're more like opposites than the same.

One made something of a vow not to ever cause anyone’s death. The other is more or less “whatevs” about it. Probably not a recipe for a healthy relationship!
