Wooh great angles! It hits hard after we have seen everything Catherine went through, just to get offed randomly. Amir is definitely a monster, but still admittedly charismatic in his whimsical nature xD.

Agreed! The lack of any sort of premeditation behind Catherine’s death hopefully makes it hit a specific chord. And also hopefully speaks to his unpredictability. And I suspect he’s not done yet, being devilishly charming and/or unpredictable. ;)

This would be a prime opportunity for Amir to kill some more innocents on a whim, yes.

Amir’s a reasonable fellow. I’m sure he’s agree to take things outside if she asked him politely. ;)

It's good she recognizes who could really get hurt here.
...that bookcase, of course! Mary was so close to destroying it in the third panel!

Sure! Mary's furious, but not blindly so and she's got her priorities straight! She knows the value of a good bookcase because as you remember, her one (maybe) hobby is to read! ;)

Hah! I hadn't considered supernatural-battle related injuries! I'll start writing up an Insurance claim I guess... =D

"Collateral damage."
Mary's at a disadvantage here because Amir won't care if anyone else gets hurt, and won't pull his punches.

Quoting Amir there? ;)
Your observation about Mary pulling her punches is a valid one. Whether or not Amir does the same might become clearer in the next few pages. They've been going at it for a few minutes now, but still have some ways to go.

Yes, that's what put the good guys at disadvantage- They care about the other people around, worry about collateral damage, cannot just fight.

Truer words were never spoken crusader! Also, I usually root for the underdog. Also, no one does collateral damage like a Voidchild! =D
