EDIT: This scene has received a MAJOR "Director's Cut". Essentially, these three pages were originally just one page. But I've re-worked it and added two pages since the original because (to be perfectly honest) I kinda hated how it turned out. I rushed the old version out, obsessed over silly things and refused to budge with my own principle to stick to a 22-page format per chapter. Rookie mistakes all-around.
But as a result of expanding on the scene, it's now super awesome and cool and I really like it! I hope you do too! =)

Lol, maybe in so many words. But Mary would most likely word it differently. :D

Amir’s nihilism along with the black eyes just match so perfectly, and really give him a solid identity! but i feel Marys about to dismantle his rationale... or at least his face xD

Or agree to disagree. What should disarm this whole situation. Question is whether Amir can be so easily dissuaded. :D

Why would you want to spend an eternity of nothingness with someone who's constantly trying to kill you, Amir?
Also, aren't you kind of siblings a bit?

Hah, I’m sure that’s the case he’s trying to make here, love not war and all that. Since that’s the fate that awaits them both. At least one of them seems pleased about it. :x
And Alol, guess they are siblings in epitaphs, but I can assure you just for super-super clarity’s sake that we’re not dealing with actual siblings. I actually had to confirm this to another reader who wanted them to get together during part 1. :D

The anticipation here is almost a physical thing..... ^^
I don't think that Amir realizes that the main problem with his little scenario, is that he's a part of it. Talk about the proverbial "fly in the ointment"! (There's another pertinent proverbial simile involving a punchbowl, but I'll leave that for someone else.) ^^

Haha, I’m glad if the suspense is prevalent here. And I think Amir doesn’t consider himself that fly (be it in a salve or a bowl). He’s more in the “well, it’s the two of us and that’s how it’s gonna be and good thing that amirite?”. :D
Also, your little callback about levitating rocks in the final panel there. We’ll see if any of them explode though. ;)

Perhaps there were things Amir himself once cared about? And his nihilism is an overcompensation that deludes himself into not caring while harming everyone else?

You my friend, are thinking with narratives. I’m do have a less black/white explanation for Amir’s despondent outlook that I hope will be accepted.
For now, you’ll have to read between the lines though. ;)

That creep stuff he says- Probably rather wishful thinking than actually an inescapable future, but yes, it's still one possible future D:

Those are some big words coming out of his creep mouth. He seems sure of it being inescapable. Question is why? =x

I like this new version.
and I wonder, what would their lives be like, when everything else is gone? without any form or matter, drifting around in nothingness..?

As a general rule of thumb, id say only go back and make changes after very careful consideration. I dont plan on doing it again but this specific scene always irked me and now it doesn’t. Glad you like it!
And as for your other point. That’s a very relevant question. And perhaps especially relevant when it comes to Amir’s motivations... ;)
