Amir's twisted view of fate vs. Mary's left hook, in today's update of Voidchild!
Voidchild will be on going on a one-week break because I've plain run out of pages for you because of RL and need to make more.
Come back the week after next to find out if Mary can stand back up and what it is that Amir loves so gosh dang much. ^_^

Definetly, though maybe he can put all that mystique to some nefarious use? No, I guess that would be too cruel and unlike him. ;)

I’ve, in my head, a reason for why she fights the way she does here compared to back when she was sixteen. If I don’t find some way to spell it out within the comic, because it isn’t right now, I’ll share it in a comment or some other way. ^_^
And about Amir and your comment about him being bored these last few years... if you only knew. ;)
Also, finally, for some reason I just find myself very grateful that you’ve implicitly understood that Mary is using these abilities to augment her strength and that this is what’s going on without me having to spell it out. Makes me think I’ve communicated that aspect correctly. ^_^

You’re so right! While I wouldn’t wanna be on the receiving end of her punches, It just doesn’t seem to cut it against Amir. And as he noted a few pages back, she’s on her last leg here. What’s gonna happen you ask?
Let’s just say that the phrase “I’m not gonna tell you” is relevant here not just because I like to tease what’s coming up. ;)
