Aww man I'm picturing Abe and Mary going on a shopping escapade together and it's hilariously entertaining xD.
I don't even want to think about how long that final panel took! Definitely worth the effort though, feels like I'm entering the boss' headquarters in a JRPG game xD

This panel took me a long time for sure. But the next two pages... let’s just say this is the first in a series of establishing shots that I had to make to, uhm, establish Mary’s new workplace.

The P.I.U is funded alright, but as with plenty of government agencies perhaps not to as luxurious an extent as you might first perceive. That said, enough to at least give Mary a salary so she can buy some clothes because I’m tired of drawing her in rags. :D
And thanks, we saw the building in the previous chapter too. But I wanted this to be the money shot.

Considering how much trouble Mary gets into, you have to wonder if she needs more than one change of clothes for the future. :x
