Freakin amazing page 3 in a row xD! The perspective and composition is especially fantastic! I love how much depth I can feel immediately. I also like how its not unrealistically tidy , feels like a very lived in office space thanks to the little details :D
Ohh its title page figure number one , hype !

Lol, thanks so much. It’s the third in a series of establishing shots and it nearly drove me mad! :D I used sketchup as a reference and actually built the whole office from scratch as I perceived it in my mind. The PIU might be more of a typical government agency than many imagine. It’s not wrong to compare them to the many departments and facets of the police and the way they do work and less as a shadowy hush-hush type of organisation. This office setting is in many ways modelled after work I did for government agencies when I lived in England and that I wanted to capture for Voidchild.
And next page you’ll actually get not one, but three of the title page characters to be introduced. ;)

Hah, Mary will not get a desk and she won’t need one. Paperwork is the purview of agents. Paranormal Intermediaries, the classification to which she now belongs, aren’t really allowed to do that part of the job. They are basically civilians drafted under the supervision of the PIU. More on this later. :)

Haha, yes, both me and Mary are glad you think higher of her than having an “existential meltdown” only because of hazing. But if t came to paddle slapping, you are probably right in that she wouldn’t much care for that. :D

You hit the nail so much on the head here. Mary May have found the perfect hiding place in plain sight. Don’t want to advertise the whole Voidchild-thing too much after all!
