Kassandra intervenes and we meet agent Justin Green who got stuck with "Samson-duty" on this particular day. In today's update of Voidchild!

(You'll also maybe note that I've renamed this chapter to "Interlude I" instead of "Chapter 3.5". Interlude was what I was originally gonna call these transitional issues of Voidchild and I have no idea why I changed it. So I changed it back! ^_^)

He has the spirit of a champion at the very least. And ah Justin seems cool, seems like someone Mary can relate to as they're both new to this thing, I look forward to both of them reacting to the inevitable shenanigans :P

Wee! You noticed the new thumbnail! I’ve been struggling for a while to do one I liked so I’m glad I’d its standing out. :)
And hah, you seem to get the hang of this crew already. Voidchild hasn’t had much “shenanigans” up until now. So it was a lot of fun to do this Interlude. Make no mistake though, these aren’t throwaway characters only meant for a giggle here and there. They all have parts to play. ;)

is that a spell shes using on his ear i like your character designs a lot . cassies is super strong secretly i think but thats just a guess and mary finally meets someone normal

Tiy are 100% right in that Cassie is applying some magic to her pinch. She kinda has to with Samson for reasons you'll understand later on. And yes, Cassie is def strong. Maybe not in the same way Samson is, but she's got her own methods. ;)
And thanks so much for the praise on the character designs. Don't tell anyone, but I kinda hadn't nailed down Samson and Justin's appearances 100% until just before this chapter started... =X

Hah, you’re even more suspicious than Mary. He doesn’t appear to have a symbol on host hand/wrist like the last time she shook hands with a certain someone. ;)
