No one suspects the Bonus Page! I do believe this is what the kids call "lore". Not often found in pamphlet form... =)
Also, if you can spare a vote for us on Topwebcomics, there's some extra incentive art featuring Mary and Abe in it for you! Link right here or in the bottom left of the page!

Of course, though he did submit a completely different more shirtless photo for the draft...

So, it would seem that the PIU is an advisory group, basically toothless, tolerated rather than sought out, except when all other avenues fail?
No wonder their little Napoleon of a director is so grouchy. ^^

I am experiencing elation by your interpretation. The P.I.U is a large operation, but the politics are obvious and they oftentimes considered a necessity rather than something desirable. In particular, the introduction of Paranormal Intermediaries has caused concern amongst certain parties.
We'll explore this further, to some extent, going forward. =)

Wooh this is great! Really expands the more nitty gritty details and questions I've had about the PIU, and really creative framing it as an in story pamphlet given to chibi Mary XD
Also interesting to see it really parallel with bureaucratic systems, seems really thought out and I'm sure I'm hyped as it will be interesting to see Mary have to not only work with a team, but accomplish her goals in a way that doesn't mess with any of the demands of her superiors and the law.
Especially since she's physically capable of destroying well...everything XD

I remember the UK, having worked for a local authority over there, as pretty bureaucratical. :) it didn’t make much sense to me to have the PIU able to work completely unrestricted. But there’s also dissonant views on the existence of the PIU.
Imagine what those people, who are might already be squinting at the PIU, might think if they knew the enemy of all existence was about on the payroll over there. ;)

Lore! I love that Mary's introduction is a pamphlet lol. Not enough budget for a real program?

And it’s the same pamphlet that they hand out in the lobby to visitors!
