I don't know this guy's entire story, but something tells me this was at least partially his fault. It could be a sadder situation where he started out as a normal guy and underwent a massive personality change. Too early to tell though.

We won’t delve all too deep into it but suffice to say that everything that’s happened here was brought in by himself. There’ll be a little bit of clarification further on.
But he was def “normal” before. But being so isn’t a guarantee for having a sympathetic streak. In fact, this guy is at least partially based on a “normal” man that I met in RL. Some of his dialogue are more or less quotes even. :x

True! I guess one of them is more of a monster in the literal sense. While the other is more of a monster figuratively.

Man that design is so cool, from the cover if I remember correctly? Wonder what they look like in the light o_O.
Oh dang this guy’s finished! And it looks like in his last moments he’s hinting towards what happened to make him that way, I wonder if he’s a victim like his daughter? And to what degree he still has control of his actions and thoughts hmmm.
Still he was going go kill his daughter lol, now I just hope this newcomer isn’t uhh indiscriminate in his killing D: . Really cool fragment paneling btw, its like his mind and life is shattering

Thank you so much! Yes, it’s the same figure from the cover! They’ll have to step into the light sooner or later. ;)
This guy’s mind was more or less fried at the end here. We’ll clarify a bit going forward. But for now I can say without spoiling anything that he brought this on himself. Maybe not in the way some think, but he’s got no one else to blame.
And judging from how the figure’s claws are already starting to sink into his skull I imagine he may in fact not get any more chances to abuse his daughter. What that means for her though... we’ll see. ;)

So, now he calls on God?
From the dialog, this was more than just a summoning gone wrong. It seems that he somehow failed/angered something he should have been more careful around.
On the brighter side, it also seems that a good skewering is in the offing. ^^

God blocked this guy’s number a while ago.
Your hypothesis is in the ball park. He did do “something” to bring this on himself. It may not be what people think though. And I guess I can’t say more than that for now. We’ll clarify as we go. :)
Also, re: the skewering. Afraid this figure might not be so lenient. ;)

Well, as long as his demise is agonizing, I'm really not that picky. ^^

I feel like actually there's a lot of things here that are your fault though.

Not even trying to shift the blame is gonna save him now!

Oh, I have an inkling that “eating” him would have been preferable to the fate in store for him. ;)
