Mary meets a yet Another new foe, the curious landlady!
Sorry about no page last week, RL-stuff that happened is still affecting my buffer and I'm still catching up. I won't promise there won't be any other delays, but I'll do my dangdest to avoid it!
Also, I've had this arbitrary rule of sticking to 22 pages/issue of Voidchild up until now to give myself a framework to stay within when creating the comic. I'm gonna loosen that up a bit going forward. Most issues/parts will be around 22 pages as long as I don't feel it affects pacing. This part, for instance, will be 24 pages. Hope you don't mind! ^_^

Ooh really great art and interaction here =D. Agatha seems suspect indeed...like one of those things where she might be out to get Mary, or could be out to help her, either way she's not ordinary hmm. Well at least Mary gots a palatable place to live xD.
"Those pretty blue eyes", is it just me or do I get Amir vibes there O_O !!

To be fair, those sunglasses didn't exactly wrap around Mary's head. Agatha might just be observant. Although it's interesting that she didn't freak out...

Rereading it you might be right. She could be completely harmless. Maybe I'm paranoid from a recent horror binge XD. Guess time will tell!

Thank you for the praise! As for Agatha, I guess you're kinda both right. She does seem suspect. But the thing I'd be most suspicious about is potentially moving into one of her flats when she seems to be beefing with the electric company! =D
As for her eyes, if you live in Victoria long enough and you're a decent judge of character I guess someone like Mary, while strange in appearance, might at least not freak you out.
Or maybe you just don't want to scare away a potential tenant? =x

She's getting a flat? No more sleeping on the street, but no hiding who she is from the landlady either.

Why not? She’s got a salary for the first time in her life after all! Now all she needs about eleven cats and the lifestyle is complete!

I imagine very few things have the fortitude to stand up to Mary if she goes into black-eyed mode. But since doing so runs the risk of setting the doomsday clock to midnight prematurely and/or causing accidental fatalities again I suppose the only thing holding Mary back is herself. That said, even blue-eyed Mary is a force to be reckoned with. ^_^
Not sure how she’d actually do with a dozen cats, but maybe I’ll do a skit around it at some point because now I kinda wanna see it!

Agatha’s been around the block for a while is all. She’s a resident of Victoria after all. Born and raised. That’s made her quite perceptive!
