Time for Mary to make herself at home! Luckily, she doesn't seem too picky.

The previous Extremely Important mission was get new clothes. New mission: get furniture. Mary doesn't seem that attached to material possessions, probably out of necessity.

Lol, I wonder what Mary’s taste in furniture would be like. Girl slept on a wooden floor for nearly six years after all.

And I guess she’s not very material. She’s not had a lot of stuff in general. Though I guess there is one item I can think of that she’s pretty keen on. ;)

Haha fantastic expression from the landlord XD. even without void powers Mary's personality stands out! Really cool how minimalist she is, not surprising considering her upbringing (flashbacks to THAT chapter T_T)

That lady's definitely seen some stuff considering that last line, cool how she can still be friendly enough to buy her a mattress :)

Character like Agatha play off Mary pretty well I think. Now we’ll have to see how they get on long-term. Especially as you so poignantly noted, Agatha being something of a veteran in Victoria. Having lived here her whole life and all. ^_^

I'm curious how many vampires Agatha knows with glowing blue eyes...

She can't be a vampire, unless she has a coffin she can fit in her tiny backpack of worldly possessions

Hah, depends on how harshly you judge this flat I guess. ;)

Agatha was probably mostly reacting to Mary’s skin first and coupling them with her eyes for some broad cautious guesswork!

Lol, guess it’s understandable with the pale skin. :D

And we’ll see if Mary gets some respite. She does have some, commitments she’s made recently. ;)

I hope Ms Clarke doesn't mind the occasional ..... peculiar ...... visitor--even if it isn't Abe. ^^

Yes, poor Mary does need a place with a roof over it. But she does have a few people, savory and less so, keeping tabs on her at the moment.

Then again, sounds like Agatha may have a higher tolerance level for strange visitors. Considering her mention of previous tenants. =x
