An aspect about Mary I find appreciable is how she can be both a focused loner who's trying to hunt down a mysterious psycho, but also have such a down to earth side to her as well. I can tell she's curious about what it's like to live a more mellow life, at least relative to what she's used to.

That's really cool to hear actually. I mean, I'm glad if Mary is portrayed as multifaceted in general. But your description of her just makes me smile because it makes her out as a person. And even though she's "The Voidchild" and "the enemy of all existence", she's got wants and needs like any other person. =)

Haha I feel bad for being suspicious for the landlord at first, she seems helpful (still ya never know ;)). And there's some awesome precision and lighting on this page I have to say!
Oh dang back to the monster a few pages ago I presume!? This should be more than interesting. I wonder if Amir is near by :)

lol, I don't blame anyone for being a bit suspicious of people in Victoria. Mary's not had the best of luck so far either…
And yes, the monster mystery continues! We'll start out by returning to the scene of the crime. Whather Amir is close or not though… well, maybe he's never far away. ;)

So many good panels on this page. My favorites are the close up on her eyes and the one where she's Whoosh-ing away.
Sounds like the crime scene is going to be a bit more intense than the things we've seen so far. It looks like there are a lot of people there already, and some of them are wearing hazmat-looking hooded clothes? Or just jackets cuz it's chilly, I dunno.

Thank youuuu! My fav is definetly the one with Mary shooting up towards the sky. I tried doing that first panel without references (I managed to get the head done) but gave up after a while and photographed myself holding a phone lol. =D
The crime scene may be a bit grisly, but there's some other things too (I swear I'm not going for shock value here, not the kind of comic this is).
The hazmat-looking fellas are actually just police forensics. I had to google how they looked because in my mind they looked like TV-forensics who just wear a pair of rubber gloves. Turns out they cover up more than I realized. =D

yes, I am. Sorry for the looong absence (and I realize how long it's been since you made this comment).
I decided on a long well-needed break for various RL-reasons. Voidchild is coming back, not this week, but soon. So if you're still around and willing to put up with this whimsical author then expect some great content coming your way! =)

Yes, sorry about that. Just needed a bit of a break for RL-reasons. More importantly though, I'm in full production mode right now. And I have actually stealth-added a few pages. Check out Chapter 3 - Part 3 Pages 12-14 if you want to see some new (in a sense) content. Or as I've called it, a "Director's Cut". I'll make it clear as I start posting new pages that there's been some additions.
Which I hope to be very soon. ^_^

Hi, I miss Mary too! She's on her way back (not this week, but soon).
Sorry it's taken me so very long to reply... The author realizes that he took a very long (albeit justified) break. But there is, yet again, Voidchild on the horizon.
