Abe and Mary try to maintain their dignity as they leave the crime scene. In today's update of Voidchild.
I don't think I ever mentioned that I expanded on an old scene from a previous chapter that I felt was rushed with some new pages/art. It is now much better as a result! You can enjoy that here: LINK!

At least from here they'll be working at their own pace, away from time-wasting backseat investigators.

Lol, one could only dream of possessing the mightiest of all clue-finding mojo! but yes, Abe and Mary might just be better off continuing their investigation separately. Let’s hope so... ;)
And thanks. Good ol’.Clip Studio Paint makes some of these perspective shots much easier than it used to be!

I attribute it to “gallows humour”. People in these lines of work need it to survive.
This particular laugh-fest seems mostly spiteful against Abe and Mary though.... :x

I love this comment so much because it is the truth and of how on point it is! Not being forthcoming is a VERY conscious decision on Mary’s part.

While Mary herself doesn’t know everything about her abilities, magic detection is a pretty big assumption

Abe made a pretty big assumption from their previous collaboration for sure! But Mary is being pretty sparse with sharing her true identity too. Let’s hope they can work this out together even user these circumstances!
