In today's Voidchild, we get to talking about fathers as well as mothers!

I imagine this spirit's reasoning is "does a father's authority involve floating babies around like they're potatoes? no? then what's the point???"

Her design has me curious. The lines around her eyes make me think of the texture of a stone statue. Combined with the outfit, it reminds me of a statue of the virgin mary, which would match the mother role.

That's actually a really interesting concept.

I'm just waiting for her to rescue them, though. Save now, talk later...

Well hopefully you won't have to wait too long, I'm planning to upload two pages this week. Next one should be up tomorrow unless something goes wrong. And the next one on Sunday as per usual. :)

Lol, she most certainly should get a good talking to about the floating babies, I agree!

And about her being based off The Virgin Mary, you are absolutely correct. I used that figure as a basis for the Maman Ama. The reasoning behind that is that I was looking for an iconic mother figure. I just had to "spook" her up a bit to get her to fit this role a bit better. :)

And you succeeded, my friend.

Well done.
