I'm happy Mary didn't get on her bad side. What a tense situation considering the stakes and the players.

Mary was either lucky or very insightful to know that the right move to counter a being like Maman Ama was to reason with her on the logic of motherly love.
I always did want there to be more to Mary than just those nifty powers she flails around. =)
